Room for Reading

21 Woodlands Terrace, Glasgow G3 6DF

1 September 2016

Thursday 1 September, 12 - 6pm, drop in, no booking necessary.

Room for Reading is an opportunity to make use of our unique library on the first Thursday of every month. Designed by artist Andrew Miller and filled with an expansive collection of art books, magazines and periodicals, the library is available for reference and research from lunchtime until late, with tea and coffee provided.

Not sure what to read? Books are suggested every month in conjunction our exhibitions and projects. After a magical weekend of ‘At Twilight: A play for two actors, three musicians, one dancer, eight masks (and a donkey costume)’ at Holmwood House, this event features the original book 'Four Plays for Dancers' by W.B.Yeats, which includes 'At the Hawks Well' a play by that was written and performed 100 years ago and is at the heart of the performance by Simon Starling and Graham Eatough.

Please email [email protected] to enquire.

Please note: amended finish time of 6pm due to the start of our Roundtable Conversation.
