Room for Reading

21 Woodlands Terrace, Glasgow, G3 6DF

7 July 2016

Thursday 7 July 2016, drop in, no booking necessary.

Room for Reading is an opportunity to make use of our unique library on the first Thursday of every month. Designed by artist Andrew Miller and filled with an expansive collection of art books, magazines and periodicals, the library is available for reference and research from lunchtime until late, with tea and coffee provided.

Not sure what to read? Books are suggested every month in conjunction with our exhibitions and projects. This month we have a book selection by our exhibiting artist Simon Starling:

'A Memoir of Gaudier-Brzeska' Ezra Pound, published by New Directions Books, 1970
'W.B. Yeats & the Theatre if Desolate Reality' David R. Clark, published by The Catholic University of America Press, 1993

'The Noh Theatre of Japan' Ernest Fenollosa and Ezra Pound, published by Dover Publications, 2004
'A Guide to Kygen' Don Kenny, published by Hinoki Shoten, 1968
'Stone Cottage: Pound, Yeats & Modernism' James Longenbach, published by Oxford University Press, 1988
